About Bear
SOME GREAT NEWS FOR BEAR!!!! He is going out on TRIAL next Monday, 19th August. We wish him Good Luck!!
Bear is a very sweet and loyal little boy and has just turned 15 years of age. His vaccinations are all current. His vet said he is in great condition for his age with no medical problems to date.
Bear is quite timid until he gets to know you and he loves sleeping on the
couch and going for little walks although he doesn’t get puffed at all.
He has a good appetite and loves his food.
Bear would make a wonderful companion for an older person looking for company and has an easy-going personality. He is not suited to being left alone at home for very long periods but is used to coping for a few hours each day. Bear is not suitable for unit/apartment living.
Some maintenance of his coat is required, but if it is kept short it is very easy to manage.
If you think you might be able to offer little Bear the new home that he is looking for, and would like to more about him, please phone Fran on 0401 814 947.
Medical notes
No medical issues.
Adoption details
The first step is to phone or email Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. for assessment regarding prospective ownership and pet suitability.

Proof of home ownership will be required. If renting your home, a letter from the owner’s agent confirming that the pet is allowed will be required.
A 2 week trial period commences on the day of adoption. If, for any reason, the dog is returned to Midcoast Dog Rescue within the trial period, the total adoption fee paid will be refunded.
All Midcoast Dog Rescue animals come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (up to date), vet checked ,wormed, flea and tick treated.
.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
