Hi everyone, I’m Betty (also known as batpup, the superhero!) and I’m looking for my new home. My friends at DFL told me to make up a list of reasons I can be your perfect pup. So, here’s the 10 reasons why you should adopt me today!!
1. I’m only a baby so I loveeee cuddles
2. Ill be your shadow, I just love human company. My favourite way to spend the afternoon is basking in the sun with my human by my side.
3. I get tired very easily because I’m still growing so I make quiet and cuddly company at nighttime.
4. I can be a very cheeky girl but that’s just a bonus on my awesome personality.
5. I am still in training but I’m a very fast learner and have already picked up some new tricks.
6. I’ll always put a smile on your face at the end of the day because I will be waiting for you full of excitement.
7. I love all doggy friends and I’m great with kids.
8. I love to play with my toys
9. I always do like my snacks so I am very easy to teach new tricks to.
10. I’ll come I and sit on my bed whilst my humans watch tv, I like to know what’s happening (it’s how us superheroes keep an eye out)
There is one thing that you should probably know. All good superheroes need a sidekick, so I’d love it if I could live with another male doggo. We can keep each other company and, being a sidekick, he can help me improve my superhero skills. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure if they’d make a good extra sidekick or not.
Well that’s enough about me. If you think I’m the one who can save your day, you should probably let my friends at DFL know by asking them for an application form, so you can send out the batpup signal and we can meet.
Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
