About Nala
**Please note that Nala is located at Blue Cross Animals Society in Wonga Park**
Hi guys!
I am a very large puppy with a big passion to express my innate breed qualities. I am looking for a home with adequate space for me to explore.
At times I can be quite aloof and independent and other times I like to explore my surroundings.
My ideal handler is someone who understands the livestock guardian breed so that my lifestyle requirements can be appropriately managed.
Tug toys and fetch are my favourite games. I also love to play with other dogs so I definitely do not mind sharing a home with another furry friend.
I am still growing into my very long legs, but obedience training and working on my social manners will help me grow into the best girl I can be.
It was noted that I seemed a little sore in my hips and stifles when I first arrived at Lort Smith. An orthopaedic vet recommended I have xrays carried out. The results indicate I have early onset hip dysplasia. This is a condition where the hips joints do not develop correctly. I do not currently require surgical correction nor treatment, however this may change in the future and potential adopters should be aware. The adoption team can fill you in and I will be adopted out with a disclaimer.
