About Jess
Beautiful Jess is a Kelpie x born on 9th July, 2015. This gorgeous gal is super keen to find her forever home.
Jess has been through a bit of a traumatic situation before coming to the facility, but we know that there is a perfect family just waiting for this special girl.
She is a shy little girl, however with patience and understanding she shines all of her love on to you.
Jess is a super gentle girl who enjoys being out for a walk. She has beautiful lead manners, however she does like to have reassurance from her walker when there is a lot of noise.
She loves to be loved and will gently paw at you if you stop patting her - just a gentle reminder that she loves your love! Once she feels settled with you, she will share with you her perfect, infectious smile.
In this environment, Jess is quite timid around other dogs, however we are told that she does get along well with other dogs. At this stage we would recommend Jess be rehomed as an only dog. Jess does not seem to be bothered by cats or pocket pets and with a proper introduction could be rehomed with cats and pocket pets in residence.
Jess shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety, however she is very scared of loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where she knows she is safe.
Dot's perfect family home will have standard fencing and will require light to medium exercise. Due to her short coat, her grooming needs are not heavy, although of course she does enjoy being pampered.
She is a super sweet gal and is very smart and will be eager to learn once she is settled. To help with this continued training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in her adoption fee with thanks to Wyong Dog Training.
Jess is an absolute delight and you will always know you are loved. She will make an awesome companion for the right family. Jess would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. She will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Jess' adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration. Jess is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccination.
To enquire more or to meet Jess, please drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 or email gosfordpound@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Jess is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
