About Humphrey
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Humphrey came to us in very poor condition and was surrendered to the pound at the ripe old age of ten. He was emaciated, his teeth were putrid (all but six had to be removed) and his coat was in a dreadful condition with no shine or life in it. Humphrey caught a nasty virus while in the pound and has been on antibiotics for about five weeks. He is on the mend now and is so much happier since being out of quarantine and able to enjoy going to the park. Humphrey has been reborn and we will make sure that the years he has left (hopefully many) will be his happiest. Humphrey (affectionately known as b. Bear!) just loves to frolic and prance about. He enjoys socialising in the dog park every day, meeting people and some new doggy pals. Humphrey adores children of all ages and is very gentle and playful. This sweet boy loves attention and is content just sitting beside you watching television. He loves the family cats and will sit with them for hours in the sun. Humphrey has impeccable manners and is house trained. He loves dinner time and happily does the washing up by keeping all the doggy bowls sparkling clean! humphrey loves to patrol up and down the front fence on a mission and his foster carer calls him a little "boy scout" ready for another adventure. Humphrey will need regular brushing to keep his beautiful coat in tip top condition and he is a house dog who must have access to the house at all times. Update 28 july: humphrey has just had his last 6 teeth removed and is now officially toothless! humphrey's vet waited until his jaw bone was free from infection before doing the surgery and humphrey's foster carer is happy to report that it has made no difference to his eating habits. He eats anything and everything including dry food. Good on you humphrey, you are a real little trooper!
humphrey comes comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed for the special adoption fee of $150 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on humphrey or to arrange to meet him, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
