About Shadow - Located in Reservoir
Shadow is a small petite cat with a beautiful black silky coat. She is very small and unassuming, but full of love with lots of affection to give.
When you first meet her, Shadow can come across as quite shy and reserved. But don’t let first impressions cloud your judgment; she is actually quite a snuggle-puss who is just a hesitant to ask for affection. What she really wants is to be picked up and to be cuddled with a scratch under the chin. If you make the first move, she will soon be purring like the best of them. As she is so small, she curls up perfectly in laps of all sizes!
Shadow came into foster care with her mother and brother and really does enjoy spending time with them and the other foster cats in our home. However, she does prefer her own space and is more likely to watch all of the noise and commotion from afar while grooming herself. Shadow also content with her own company and is happy to be left at home keeping the bed warm while you are out.
Shadow would be best suited to a quieter home with a slower pace of doing things as she is not a fan of too much excitement. She wold be the perfect companion to snuggle up to on the couch while watching TV or reading a book; a perfect substitute for that hot water bottle. Shadow does get along well with other cats. She would be well suited to someone in a unit or someone with a busy life who has a lot of love to give and is looking to receive a lot of love in return.
Shadow is not a fussy eater and is well house trained.

Please be advised that if you should find that you are not a purrfect match, or if you need to rehome your new pet at any stage of its life, Maneki Neko Cat Rescue will take the cat back into care and find a new home.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions. Although all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of a new environment can upset their immune system.
