Nikki

This is written from Nikkis foster mum. Nikki has raised her puppies and is now looking for a place to call home herself.

Nikki is just the sweetest girl. She get on great with other dogs, no nasties or dominance behaviors and she even leaves my free range chickens alone. She has had a go at the lambs (old working dog habits) and I don't trust her off the lead around the horses but I have no doubt she'd be easily trained to stay out of the way as she's very eager to please. Her absolute favorite things are to curl up in her bed in front of the fire or being cuddled, she'll let you hold and hug her for hours. She still doesn't know what to do with a ball but is just happy running around the the rest of my lot while they play. She's still a bit nervous (expects to get hit or runs away at loud noises and wets herself) but she's definitely becoming more confident and is coming out of her shell more and more. She doesn't dig, bark or chew. I think she'd fit in best with someone who is home a lot of the time or in a household with other dogs to keep her company.
