Spice's story💔

8 month old Spice was found abandoned in a park one cold night with his sister. He was very scared and not in great health as poor little Spice had mange. He needed treatment for this, good food, TLC and love. We began treatment right away and over the past few weeks, he has fully recovered.

At first when we took Spice out to the yard for a play, all he would do was cling to us. He was so frightened. With his tail between his legs and his body low, we could see he was too afraid to explore. Over the next few weeks, he grew in confidence and began to roam and sniff - yay!

Now when we take him to our yard he *still* wants to sit on our laps, but he will also romp around and play. :) It's great to see this little boy begin to flourish.

Now it's good news for Spice. After his scary adventure and pound time done, little Spice is healthy, a lot happier and ready to find a home. Hooray!

What sort of home would suit Spice?

Although he has had some positive interaction with other dogs, he is still initially very afraid of them and a gradual introduction is required. We think he would prefer to be the only animal in his new home although we are open to trying a match up with him.

He is now available to adopt for $150.
