beagles are an amazing breed; they are exceptionally friendly, clown like in their behaviours and keep you on your toes with their daily antics and adventures!

beagles however do have some special requirements; they are not suited to being only dogs or dogs left alone 24/7 without their humans. They need daily mental and physical stimulation and exercise, secure fencing and please also remember that they are scent hounds and will follow their nose rather than you in most circumstances!

they thrive with training and adore spending time with their humans; the reason there are so many beagles in foster care, pounds and shelters is due to people not doing research on the breed and purchasing them based on their beautiful looks and nature without really understanding what a beagle is and what home they are best suited to.
