Joey

Joey is a very special young man, who arrived at the age of 3-4 weeks old, far too young to leave his mother. His litter was advertised as free to a good home and we tried to get them all with their mother on the understanding that mum would be returned desexed when the pups were ready at the legal age of 8-12 weeks. The owner would not agree. We sent someone in to get them all but we only were able to take young Joey. Joey has been hand raised. Not long after the border collie pups arrived from Tullymorgan, they all became sick with parvo. Young Joey became sick too! He was the worst affected and has needed a much longer recovery period due to leaving his mother so early. Joey is fully recovered now and is a beautiful gentle playful mischievous young pup who needs training as all pups do. Although he is running round with all the other pups he is a lot quieter them and loves his cuddles. He will need to be an inside outside dog as he has never been outside at night and would feel the cold more easily than most. He desexed immunised and microchipped as are all the animals here.
