Hi, I’m Barry, but my friends call me Baz. I was rescued from the pound and settling into foster life quite nicely. Don’t let my tough exterior fool you... I’m actually a sensitive and affectionate teddy bear. I love to be close to my humans and I’ll take any opportunity for a good old belly scratch. I’m really easy going and most days you’ll find me napping in my bed, on the verandah, on the grass or in the garden. Basically anywhere is a good place to nap. My foster parents say I’m a patient lad because I’m very tolerant of my furry foster brother who likes to chew on my ears, all the time. He doesn’t quite understand the concept of personal space but I don’t mind too much, the company is comforting. I quite enjoy a good game of tug-o-war and bitey face, but when things become too competitive I generally retreat and go back to napping. I’m a lover not a fighter! I sit and wait for my dinner, I can shake and give a high 5, I have good house manners and I’m good at walking on a lead. I can’t wait to meet my forever humans and share my enormous heart with them.
