About Shelby
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Shelby was originally adopted from a sydney pound a short time ago and obviously whoever adopted her did not care too much for her because, not long after, she found herself in another (low kill) sydney pound. Her owner left her impounded there for two weeks before deciding to pick her up (!!!) and this has had some effect on shelby who now suffers with separation anxiety. The only home suitable for shelby at the moment will be with a retired couple who are home more often than not, a family where the mum does not go out to work or someone who can take shelby to work with them or in the car to pick up the children as shelby is very good in the car. Shelby must have access to the house at all times. When her foster carer goes out she will bark for a while but then settles down. Shelby's foster carer left her video camera running to see how she does react when left alone and found that she is quite happy to play with her toys, sleep or just amuse herself and is not destructive at all when alone but shelby must be kept in the house when her carer/owner goes out. Shelby is a lovely dog who would suit children over the age of 10 years. She loves to sleep by her foster carer's bed in her own little bed and really enjoys following her around the house during the day. Shelby is completely house trained, is enjoying going for walks and does like the company of other dogs. She is not timid of people at all but she just does not like to be outside when her carer leaves the house. Shelby has had her coat groomed by dru who does a wonderful job with our rescued dogs who are not severely matted. Shelby will require regular grooming and clipping. Shelby comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350. If you would like more information on shelby or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 14 may
