About Akeira DB478
Meet Akeira!
Akeira is a young, goofy, girl with a heart of gold.
Akeira took a little extra time to settle into her foster home, but with love, affection and reassurance she has started to blossom. She loves to go for walks/runs and play in the backyard with her foster brother.
She may be a large dog but Akeira does think she is the size of a chihuahua and loves nothing more than snuggling up on your lap at the end of a long day at work. She has been fine living with a family who have children and loves living with another dog. She is also living with a cat who she plays gently with and understands she must not hurt them.
Akeira would ideally like someone who is home more often than not. We think she would be better suited to a house with another dog to keep her company which does stop her becoming too anxious when left alone.
She is still a young pup and needs a loving and patient family who can provide her with lots of attention and dedicated training; a family who will understand that a new home can be a bit scary and that it might take a little while for her anxiety to settle, but that she will reward you all the more love for it.
