About Trekker
Trekker has been in care for awhile now, though no one who knows he can figure out why. He is happy go lucky, full of energy & loves nothing better than hanging out with people...or going for a nice long walk with a cuddle break every now & then, is his favourite, favourite thing!
Trekker is not a set & forget dog, he loves being with you & though he is happy left to his own devices he will do so much better to have some one to keep company with most of all. He will do best as an only dog, as he does love the attention but gets on with most other dogs, except staffie types.
Trekker is very loyal & will worship the ground you walk on if given the chance, he just needs that chance! He is obedient, knows some commands & is a willing learner.
Although he loves most people, for some reason men in fluro work wear terrify him, only he knows why & he isn't saying.
Please give Trekker a chance at a life away from here at the rescue, he is a dog so deserving of his own family!
Medical notes
Apart from a scarred & pointy ear, which gives him no problems, he appears healthy & happy!
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
