About Harmony
I was surrendered to Lort Smith when my family’s circumstances changed quite significantly and they could no longer provide me with what I needed. They were heartbroken about this decision but knew it was the right thing to do for me.
I love long serene walks. I am very tactile with those that I trust, so adore big cuddles on the couch with my human companions.
My favourite games are tug of war and playing with random sticks that I acquire on walks.
I am obsessed with hanging out and playing with my canine friends and I must say that I’m pretty good at adjusting my play style to suit other dogs' different personalities.
I am great at sit, drop, name recognition and waiting patiently for my food.
There are a few important things that you must know about me. I am quite nervous when meeting new people. I tend to back away from situations I do not feel comfortable in. For this reason, I will need to go to a quieter home with no young children. My adopter will need to be patient, committed to helping me build up my confidence and take me to one on one obedience training.
It would be ideal if my new home is in the quieter outer suburbs, as built up and busy places make me a little stressed. My stress and anxiety levels will need to be managed for the rest of my life.
I am best suited to a home with no small animals - I tend to get a little too excited and the thrill of the chase is just too tempting.
Going to a home with a confident and well trained canine friend would make me so very happy. Being around other dogs brings me out of my shell and gives me some much needed confidence.
If you think you could offer me the perfect home, please contact the Adoption Hub.
