Crunchie 🌼

Crunchie is a very sweet playful little girl who adores spending time with her humans and her host dogs. She's a super cuddly girl when it's nap time but does love to explore her surroundings and is quite a curious little girl. She follows the lead of her host dogs and picked up the routine in her foster home. Crunchie is currently an inside/outside dog and loves to hang out with her host dogs. She would love the company of another dog in her forever home.

Crunchie is currently living with older kids in her foster home and absolutely adores them. Given that she has a sweet, gentle nature, we are confident she would be suitable for younger children as well, as long as they are gentle and respectful of animals. This adorable little girl is always happy. She loves playing with her toys and is easily trained. She's currently learning some basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay' which she is responding well to.

Toilet training is coming along beautifully! Crunchie is using puppy pads if unable to get outside, but most of the time she will wait until she's on the grass. Sleeping arrangements at night is fairly casual....she's quite happy to sleep on her bed in the loungeroom, but won't turn down a night spent with one of the kids in bed.

As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Crunchie will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a medium dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.

We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.

Crunchie would be best suited to a home where she had the company of her humans or another doggie companion. She will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing and a family who will commit to her training.
