About Kimba
Kimba is a beautiful young lady from last years abandoned orphans. She is a sweet companion with the perfect amount of cheekiness. She came into our care with her brother Onyx. After months of rehabilitation at our sanctuary and in foster care this gorgeous girl is now searching for her forever home.
Her foster care environment has other dingoes, young children and many feathered friends and visitors.
Kimba, like many wild born orphans is naturally shy and timid when new people are introduced. Once she realises that the person is going to stick around, her curiosity will usually get the better of her and she’ll eventually come and sniff you. This same cautious but curious nature also applies to new furry friends, making her introduction to other dogs calm and friendly. Kimba walks fantastic on lead and thoroughly loves adventuring with her foster family. She does take some convincing to pop her collar on but she can be won over with treats and love. In time with some more trust and patience this will improve.
Her striking black and white coat is absolutely stunning. She turns heads wherever she goes.
Kimba knows her name and is quite food motivated. We are still working on basic training like sit and come but she walks beautifully on lead and will always stay close with her pack. Kimba is very alert and always watching and wanting to be involved.
In her current environment, Kimba has access to the house during the day as well as a decent sized yard with some safe places to hide if she becomes overwhelmed. It will be a requirement that she has company and safe spaces in her new home in order to really flourish.
