About Jessie ~ Pug X Chihuahua (on trial 22/7/19)
Jessie is a loveable 6 year old female Pug x Chihuahua (Chug). She is a friendly and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than to spend time with you. Whether it be relaxing at home or going on adventures, she is just happy to be by your side.
She is toilet trained and has had no accidents inside since coming into care. She needs to be allowed in the house at all times with access to outside. Jessie mastered our doggie door very quickly and likes to go out and lie in the sun.
Jessie is in care with 3 cats and another small dog, who she gets along well with. She would however be best suited to a home where she is the only dog, as she loves to be the centre of attention.
She travels well in the car, and loves her trips to the beach or local dog park. She has not shown any separation anxiety when left home for short periods of time and is excited to see you when you return. Jessie only barks when she hears a strange noise or to let you know that someone is at the door.
Jessie enjoys playing with her toys and would benefit from a short walk every day or active play time at home, she will fetch and bring her toy back to you. She has shown no aggression around other dogs or children she has met on her walks, although she can be a bit nervous when large dogs approach.
It would be best for Jessie to go to a quiet home where someone is home most of the time. She would be best suited to a retired individual or couple, or part-time worker.
Jessie is in foster care in Budgewoi (Central Coast), NSW and is available for interstate adoption. For more information or to meet Jessie please contact Jackie by email jackie.bryant1@outlook.com.au

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
