About Teddy
Teddy by name, and Teddy by nature.
Teddy is a super-friendly 8 year old cattle cross, one of the happiest dogs around, full of the joy of life, the ultimate love bug, and has been enjoying his time with his carers Michael and Kim (founders of SavourLife) and his foster fur siblings Missy and Max.
Teddy has beautiful white soft fur, and a new zest for life! Love and cuddles are his expertise, as his humans are priority number one for him and loves to chill, nap and keep you in his sights.
Teddy also loves his walk...a lot, so a home where her can get one walk a day is best for him, otherwise pottering in the garden with you or really just doing anything where he can be by your side makes Teddy happy. Teddy does well with being on his own, but can get stressed when he’s separated from you at the beginning, but given time he will settle well. Teddy would also make a good road trip buddy and loves going on car rides. Teddy is an indoor dog with access outside and sleeps inside of a night time.
Teddy is very eager to please and has been seeing a trainer. He has come leaps and bounds since he started his training and now can be spotted hanging out at the local café without a care in the world as dogs pass by. Whilst Teddy is a superstar with his training and walks really well on a lead, it will be important for his new family to chat with the trainer (free of charge) and follow the trainers advice to ensure Teddy remembers everything he’s learned and remains a well behaved pooch.
Teddy loves to play, but is not really fussed to join his foster siblings games. Whilst Teddy is happy to be in the company of low energy dogs, he prefers to be the only dog, but a chilled female or male doggy companion would be ok.
We believe Teddy would be best suited to a person/couple who is home more often than not, as he is happiest just relaxing in your company. A family with children over 12 years of age would also be suitable if they were able to give Teddy the attention and love he craves and deserves.
So if you are looking for a special dog to share your life with you please contact us about Teddy with some information on yourself and your home environment including other pets.
