About Addison ☀️
Addison is a very sweet playful little girl who adores spending time with her humans and her host dogs. She is starting to follow the lead of her host dogs and picking up the routine in her foster home. She is currently an outside dog with access to a covered area where she sleeps alongside her brother, Lincoln and host dog inside a warm, cosy kennel.
She is a very sweet natured girl and is very easy going. Whilst Addison enjoys playing with toys, she loves rumbling and chasing her host dog Tyson more than anything, you will find them curled up together most of the time, so we would love to find her a home where she had the ongoing companionship of another dog.
Addison has been around both dogs and cats in her foster home and is great with both.
She has also been around older children during her time in care, but we are confident she will be great with the younger ones as long as they are gentle and respectful of animals.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Addison will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a medium dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Addison would be best suited to a home where she had the company of her humans or another doggie companion. She will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing and a family who will commit to her training.
Addison is located in Lake Haven, on the Central Coast NSW and looking forward to meeting you!
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
