Hi! My name is Zena and I am looking for that special person to love. I am not shy at all and will be all over you instantly with my kisses. I am having lots of training with my 11 year old foster mini-mum who has taught me to sit, wait for food & drop! Life totally amazes me and I’m just so happy all the time. Kids over 10 are needed for me because I get so excited about everything and it takes me a while to settle down. I do pick things up easily though as I am very smart! That’s from the border collie in me.
I currently have two fur foster siblings, one male and one female and I adore them both. Any size dog is no problem for me. I am the smallest compared to my fur siblings but that doesn’t stop me from chasing them and wrestling all day. I look very much like my foster brother who is a border collie cross labrador. We could pass for brother and sister! I do live with two cats as well, but I get too excited and chase them. They don’t like that much and they get scared. I would love another dog in my forever home, but that isn’t compulsory because I’m good at entertaining myself too.
I really love going for walks. If you need a walking partner then I am the girl for you. I don’t bark or make any noise overnight. Nothing scares me at all! Not even the vet.
If you think we would be a good match, I would love to meet you soon!

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
