About Lincoln 🌾
Lincoln is a very sweet playful little boy who adores spending time with his humans and his host dogs. He is starting to follow the lead of his host dogs and picking up the routine in his foster home. He is currently an outside dog with access to a covered area where he sleeps alongside his sister, Addison and a host dog inside a warm, cosy kennel.
Lincoln has the sweetest little face and knows how to use those gorgeous puppy eyes to pull at your heart....this boy will truly melt your heart with one look. Whilst Lincoln enjoys playing with toys, he loves rumbling and chasing his host dog Tyson more than anything, so would love to find him a home where he had the ongoing companionship of another dog.
Lincoln has been around both dogs and cats in his foster home and is great with both.
He has also been around older children during his time in care, but we are confident he will be great with the younger ones as long as they are gentle and respectful of animals.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Lincoln will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. We believe that he will be a medium dog when fully grown. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure he will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Lincoln would be best suited to a home where he had the company of his humans or another doggie companion. He will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing and a family who will commit to her training.
Lincoln is located in Lake Haven, on the Central Coast NSW and looking forward to meeting you!
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
