ABOUT RUBY

Ruby is a lovely older mini fox terrier, who is quite blind. She is quite happy to be left at home alone wandering through the garden, or sleeping inside in her basket. She interacts with other dogs well, and loves it when her carers come home and is always up for a lap cuddle and scratch. Ruby does shed alot of hair, so a daily brush would be beneficial. She is in good health, and has great clean teeth and weighs only 4kg. As she is blind, she relies alot on her hearing and her carers voice to guide her. She was very timid when arriving at the carers house, but is slowly becoming more adventurous, exploring further into the house. She is not trained to use a doggy door or stairs as yet, but perhaps will be in the future. Ruby does not walk on a leash so well as she is blind, but is very inquisitive, so short walks in the park where she can sniff everything is ideal, rather than a long walk. Ruby would suit a quiet household without children, but perhaps with another quiet dog for company. Ruby is happy to travel in the car and loves foodie treats.
