Hi my name is Hera and I am looking for my furever family.

My past is one which has caused me to initially be wary of new people. I am slow to trust that I am no longer in danger and that I can expect to feel love and respect, not harsh treatments. Once I understand you are my friend, I have a whole lot of love to share.

I know how to sit and drop and walk politely on the lead. I wait until I am told it is okay to eat and will come when my name is called. I'm also toilet-trained. My foster Ma is always teaching me new things which makes me happy, especially when I get it right and I get lots of love and cuddles. I love cuddles. I also like other dogs and good with little kids and cats. I'll need a dog buddy in my new home as I love the company.

Sometimes when I am sitting for pats I get sooo excited my feet can’t stay still and I fall over, Foster Ma says I am a goof ball.... but pats and chin scratches are the best. I have the best personality and a cute wiggle butt, which is good cause I just want to make my humans happy.

My foster Ma says I have to get my confidence back. She also says my person will be one who understands my past treatment at the hands of humans still causes me trust issues, and that I will need time and a compassionate person to bring out my true inner beauty. I am worth the effort.
