About Jolie
Jolie is a 6 week old kitten who was separated from her mum at only 5 weeks old.
BIN0000238803153
She is a tabby and white kitten with beautiful brown markings. Although Jolie didn't have the best start to life, it hasn't stopped her from being a bubbly and cuddly kitten!
Jolie is a sweet, happy and affectionate kitten. As long as she's not in a playful mood, she loves taking a nap on your lap and cuddling up to you. She even loves to give you kisses on your nose. You'll know when jolie is happy and content because you'll hear her motor purring away.
When she first arrived in foster care she wasn't shy at all, she was a little ball of energy. All she wanted to do was play and run around. Since arriving, she has been socialised very well with other animals as she currently lives with other cats . Even though the other cats are a lot bigger than Jolie, she's not scared of them at all and loves to boop their nose!
Don't be tricked by her small size, she has a big appetite! If you have lots of food to give then it sounds like you're the right family for her! She loves following you around the house, so if you also don't mind having a little shadow around you all the time then she's definitely purfect for you.
Jolie is litter trained, has had her first vaccination, is microchipped and up to date with worm and flea treatments. Jolie is currently living with her foster family in zillmere whom adore her very much! Jolie is ready to go to her furever home and she can't wait to meet you and give you lots of kisses!
She's not quite ready for adoption yet but you are very welcome to meet her and put her on hold. Her adoption fee covers her desex also
Adoption details
We believe in finding the right 'forever' home for our rescues, so our adoption process is designed to make sure our animals and families are the right fit for each other. As you can imagine, some of our rescue animals have gone through quite an ordeal to wind up in the hands of a rescue group - so finding the right fit is vital to ensuring the well being of both the rescue animals and the families who wish to adopt them.
Step 1: FIND YOUR MATCH
Find the pooch, kitty or other rescue animal who melts your heart. We will upload the best photos we can to help show their personality. Otherwise, if you aren't sure what you are really looking for yet - skip to Step 2 and ask us for some advice.
Step 2: CONTACT US
Send us a message via Pet Rescue or an email to: pantherandpooch@outlook.com regarding the animal you wish to know more about, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Step 3: APPLY TO ADOPT
Fill out the adoption application and return it to us. We do this at this point so you can get a feel for what you might expect with a rescue animal. It might seem daunting, but don't let that deter you. We just make the application thorough to make sure we get the right fit.
Step 4: MEET YOUR MATCH
Once your adoption application is reviewed and approved, we can organise a meet and greet with your chosen animal. We usually tie this in with a house check, so we'll bring your chosen animal over to meet you/your family.
Step 5: GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER (ADOPTION TRIAL)
If your application is approved and you agree to adopt - Panther & Pooch has a 4 week trial adoption policy. We feel 4 weeks is a good amount of time for you and your rescue to get to know each other. During this 'trial adoption' period, Panther and Pooch will touch base with you to see how things are going, make sure everyone is happy and healthy and make sure your new family member is settling in well. Whilst on a 'trial adoption' the animal remains registered to, and under the guardianship/legal property of Panther and Pooch Pet Rescue. If we do not receive any response from the potential adopters during this period, we may get a little worried that something has happened - so please stay in touch.
If, at any time during the trial adoption, you feel that your adopted animal is not the right fit for you - Panther and Pooch will happily pick them up within 12 - 24 hours (if not sooner). You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask questions or contest your decision. We have an 'open arms' policy which applies to every animal who passes through our rescue - no matter how long they have been with their new family. If you feel at this point you would like to try another animal with your family, this can certainly be discussed. Adoption is a process, and we are here to help you through it.
Step 6: WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Ok! So you LOVE your new family member, the trial adoption has gone well and you're ready to say 'Welcome To The Family" . . . The next step is to sign the agreement to adopt and change over the microchip to your name. This part is SO important, as you may need to be contacted one day if someone finds your rescue animal.
Step 7: KEEP IN TOUCH
We LOVE updates on our rescues, so feel free to keep in touch. Nothing makes our day better than to see the happy face of our rescues with their new family.
