About Pippy ~ Australian Bulldog x (on trial 9/8/19)
Meet Pippy a beautiful 4 year old Aussie Bulldog x. Through no fault of her own DRN are helping her owners find a new home for her.
She currently lives in a loving home environment and is crate trained, toilet trained and knows how to sit on command. She sleeps all night with a pillow and blanket and loves freshly washed bedding.
She is a large girl weighing around 35kg. She can be very strong and overwhelming at times of excitement. She would be best suited to a household with adults or older children. Pippy is not suited to a home with young kids.
Pippy is social with other dogs at the dog park and loves a daily walk. This would need to continue to manage her weight. Pippy is not suitable to a home with cats or other pocket pets. Pippy would be ok in a home with no other dog and would also be ok living with another dog, provided the other dog has a similar personality.
She is a confident dog so needs to go to a home with someone who is willing to train using positive reinforcement not harsh training methods. She needs gentleness and understanding because she can also be a bit anxious at times. She is a loving companion who just wants to be part of your daily life.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
