About Oskar
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Extremely cuddly and loyal, Oskar adores pats and constant attention from his favourite people - and he can't wait to find his amazing new family!
A bright and active lad, Oskar also loves his daily walks and runs in the park. He's showing improvement on his lead every day, and is calm around the other dogs he meets. He mostly chooses to keep to himself - though if a friendly puppey initiates a romp or a wrestle, he'll happily join in!
After he's tired himself out, he enjoys heading home to relax beside you on the sofa or in his bed. He's very easy company, really!
Like all Maggie's pets, Oskar is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have a medium-to-large yard with room to move, and my new family will have plenty of time available to hang out with me, play with me and take me on my lovely walks.
I'm good with people, though a bit stand-offish until I get to know you. Once you're in my good books, I'll take all the love and attention you can throw at me!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. All I really need to stay in tip-top shape is some outdoor space to run around in and a good walk every day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm great with kids who I live with or who I happen to meet while out and about! I can sometimes be over-protective of my family and home, so I should always be supervised or kept contained when young children are visiting.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm fine with other dogs, but I haven't met any cats yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
