On Hold
Maple is a super happy and active dog. Her ideal home would be with someone who is seeking a dog to do sports with, or someone who loves being outdoors and active, running or bikeriding or even sledding!
After interacting with her humans, sunbathing is her second favourite pastime, as can be seen in her gorgeous profile picture.
While Maple is the sweetest, most affectionate people pleaser around, she will need direction. She is super trainable, and we would recommend further development of manners with an appropriately qualified dog trainer.
Clever Miss Maple was surrendered to us after she was injured and her family could no longer care for her.
Maple had taken herself off on an adventure and ended up with her foot caught in a trap. Her injuries were not pretty, but they were not so extensive as to to kurb her enthusiasm for life, and she has recovered perfectly well in herself.
After appropriate introductions, our Maple gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play. She would do very well with the right canine companion at home.
She is not tested with cats or small animals, and until after further training we would not recommend her going to a home with smaller critters.
