Meet Zara! This gorgeous girl has settled well into foster care and is now ready to find her new home.

Zara came to us as an owner surrender. She's extremely friendly and loves to be around people and other dogs. She's friendly with children too so would love to be in a family home. She's a little overly focussed on cats and would possibly have a tendency to chase, so we would recommend either a home that is cat free or a home with a very confident cat who won't run, and obviously a gentle introduction.

Zara needs a little training on the lead and she rarely barks. She knows a couple of commands, and she's a bright cookie so training should be a breeze. With patience and consistency she'll come along in leaps and bounds.

She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and loves to go out and about with her foster mum, although she does need some reassurance when she's in new situations.

Zara's ideal home will be with a family, possibly with another dog for her to play with. An active family where she gets a good walk each day and has the space to run around a secure yard area would be perfect for her. She also needs to be able to sleep inside at night.
