About Buddy
Please meet Buddy.
Once she has had a chance to settle in and feel safe, Buddy is really happy to share her time with her humans. She loves to hop on your lap and give lots of cuddles and kisses.
This beautiful girl is a bit of a country kid and seems to prefer a quiet lifestyle over living in the suburbs.
Buddy is very well behaved. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was a little unsure of all of the noises but seems to have gotten used to the sounds of living in town. Although she is settling with her new environment, we think Buddy will be at her happiest when she is living on a rural property.
Whilst she has been in care, Buddy has been treated as an important family member in her foster home. She spends a lot of time indoors with her family to help her feel safe.
Her foster carer's have been working on her confidence but she is still extremely shy and timid. Slow introductions to new people and environments will be very important for Buddy so she does not become overwhelmed. Trust that her new people will protect her when she is feeling unsure will be important for Buddy to continue developing her confidence and social skills. Although she is happy to be with out with the people she loves and trusts, Buddy is still very shy and is happy to mix with new people in her own time.
She will need time and patience to develop trust in her new family and further confidence building will be benificial to help her adjust to her move to her new home.
This extremely sweet girl is great with other dogs and will benefit from a confident MALE dog in her new home to help her feel safe and be a great companion when she is taking on new adventures. She would prefer a calm doggy friend. She is not high energy and seems to become a little agitated around bouncy dogs.
A home with a canine friend will be the best match for Buddy to help her feel a ease.
Buddy is currently invited inside to spend lots of time with her foster carers. She sleeps inside overnight and seems to enjoy the security of an inside bed overnight. She can hold on overnight!
Buddy adores her humans but due to her being a little timid, she will be seeking a quieter home with children aged 10+ who understand that dogs need their space to feel safe.
Regular walks and exercise will be important for Buddy to keep her clever mind stimulated. Although she is not high energy, outings and stimulation will be important to help her learn and spend valuable time with her family.
She's good on a lead and has picked up some basic commands really quickly so you can tell she's clever.
Her foster carers have gotten to know Buddy quite well and believe she will be well suited to someone who's home a lot because she loves large amounts of company.
Buddy has not been tested with cats so will be looking for a home with no cats in case she has a desire to chase.
We look forward to hearing from you if you and your canine pal have a special space to offer Buddy
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
