Hi my name is Lola and I’m a teeny weeny bundle of joy.
I was surrendered due to no fault of my own. You see my owner was elderly and became unwell so wasn’t able to care for me anymore. They decided the best place for me to go was into foster care to eventually find my new amazing family.
When I came into care it was a bit scary. There were new animals I hadn’t met before, new people and new situations that I had never been in. I had lived a sheltered life and wasn’t quite sure what to make of this big exciting world. It hasn’t taken me long to realise how good life can be and eventhough I was a little unsure of my canine foster sister at first, we are now besties. I think big dogs are still a bit scary but my mum tells me that’s a little dog thing 😜. We run, play and snooze together.
I absolutely love laps and my humans beds so if you aren’t willing to share either of those then please don’t apply. I love to snuggle and my happy place is close to my family.
I can be a little bit wary of strangers and may bark a little at first but once I know they aren’t going to hurt me or my family then I just want to lick and jump all over them.
I like going on walks and am quite good on the lead. I have no road sense what so ever so must have a safe secure yard.
My foster mum thinks I’m a real sweetheart and as much as she loves having me snuggle with her all the time, she knows it’s time to find my forever family.
