About Gunner
Looking for love? Gunner is a Kelpie x born on 9th September, 2018 and is looking forward to finding his forever home.
Gunner is a super fun loving kinda guy who just loves affection.
He enjoys being out for a walk though he hasn't had the proper training so can be quite erratic on lead, but with the persistent training his leash manners will improve. Gunner loves to make new friends and he gets along well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, though he can be nervous at first with bigger dogs so slow intros and socializing will help give him confidence. Cats do not seem to bother him and with a proper introduction, he could be rehomed with cats in residence. He would not be suited to be rehomed with Pocket pets as he is way too friendly with them.
Gunner shows no signs of food aggression but he has separation anxiety. Although he doesn't seem to be startled by fast movement he is startled by loud noises we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
He is a super sweet boy and is eager to learn. To help with this continued training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee with thanks to Wyong Dog Training.
As Gunner is a working breed he will need adequate space to run and play and plenty of exercise to keep him stimulated.
Gunner is an absolute delight and you will always know you are loved. He will make an awesome companion for the right family. Gunner would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. He will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Gunner's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Gunner is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
