On Hold
About Castiel
I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLD, I MAY HAVE FOUND MY FAMILY! I love my foster family, but I’m ready for one of my own!
I enjoy chasing flies, playing with my toys and getting neck scratches from anyone who will give them to me. I weigh 3.4kgs.
I love my foster mum and I want her all to myself, so I would suit best as only child.
I am very shy at first, sometimes a little bit noisy, but if you are patient and calm with me, I am sure we will become friends very quickly!
I can be a bit stubborn sometimes, but only when I’m not too sure about situations. I listen very well and give the best kisses.
I am quite a vocal little lady, so this is still a work in progress. Sudden noises make me really worried, but I’m sure once I am comfortable and can trust that I am being taken care of I will settle.
I have my outbursts of energy, I am still a puppy after all, so I need exercising every day, otherwise I tend to favour mum’s slippers. I am much better on lead now, I don’t hate it anywhere near as much as I used to, I love getting out and feeling the wind in my fur and the sun on my face.
There is nothing more I would love than to sit on the lap of someone who loves me and watch the world go by, I hope that will be you! Make sure you check out all my videos!!
Castiel's ideal home will be with someone active who wants to take her for walks and continue her ongoing training, she truly is a beautiful girl, but she does need a specific type of home, best as an only pet as she doesn’t like sharing her humans, she would love a back yard of her own to play in. Older children only please.
Medical notes
Castiel has previously had urinary crystals, she does not now and to prevent them again she has to stay on a Urinary prescription diet for life.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Chermside, Jindalee, Browns Plains. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant X-rays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heartworm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
