🌼🐕🌼 ATTN: NSW/ACT - Sweet and loving Mossy is looking for her forever home! 🌼🐕🌼

Mossy, our beautiful and cuddly four year old girl is one of our recent rescues to come into the care of our NSW/ACT team.

She was a Gumtree girl, who found herself up for sale several times, but no one really wanted her........☹️ Our instincts couldn't let her go, so we bought her and in hindsight we are glad that we did.

Mossy is terribly obese weighing in at 14kgs! This weight impacted her breathing so much that she URGENTLY required soft palette and nostril widening surgery to help her breathe. 🚑

Additionally, Mossy also had a 'dead eye' as a result of a previous globe rupture and to avoid any potential infections her eye wasrequired to be removed. And, if that wasn't enough, she had also been diagnosed with glaucoma on her remaining eye.

Mossy is now recovering from her initial surgeries and will have further surgery for the removal of everted laryngeal saccules within a weeks time.

Whilst this occurs, we would like to commence our search for her special family 💗

▪️ AGE: Four years old.
▪️ MICROCHIP #: 900032002889327.
▪️ LOCATION: Wollongong area.
▪️ CATS: Untested.

▪️ MEDICAL NOTES: As Mossy has been diagnosed with glaucoma in her eye, she will require ongoing daily eye drops long term to ensure that she doesn't lose her remaining eyesight. Mossy will also need to be on strict weight loss management to ensure the unnecessary weight comes off and it does not impact on her breathing or joints. ⏲

▪️ IDEAL HOME: Mossy loves to be part of the family and involved in day to day activities.

Mossy adores being around human companionship as well as that of another four legged companion that can join her in exploring and sharing her adventures with, as she loves to wonder around keeping herself busy.

When she is not exploring, she loves playing with fluffy toys. And once the day is over she loves nothing more than having a good snuggle with you. Mossy will require to be an inside Pug with access to the backyard 🐾🐾
