Murphy

Hi! My name is Murphy. I'm also known as "Murph", "Smurfy", "Smurfinator" & "Oi get out of the dishwasher!" When I came to the RSPCA in April I was very unwell and everyone was very concerned that I might not make it. I initially went into foster care with a wonderful vet student who was able to give me the critical round the clock care that I needed to start getting better. After a week I had finally started to improve and was then moved into foster with one of the vet nurses from the RSPCA so I could continue my recovery with some furry foster siblings and a big back yard to explore. I am finally all better and am now ready to find a family of my own who can give me all the love and attention I deserve. I love other dogs so hopefully my new family will have a fur sibling for me to play with, preferably one who can keep up with my endless amount of energy! If not, that's still ok I will just need plenty of exercise and lots of mental stimulation to keep me happy. With a little bit of patience you can hopefully teach me how to become your new best friend - my foster mum says that I am very clever I just need to apply myself better (I think she should've spent more time training and less time complaining about me being wet!) Speaking of which... I absolutely LOVE to play in water. Even on the coldest days I can often be found taking myself off for swim in the pond or digging through my water bowl, so please be prepared for lots of wet puppy cuddles!
