About Brutus
Brutus is an English Staffy -and if you can't live without Staffy love then you can't live without Brutus - Adorable is his best feature and cheeky is his nature. He was born with Elbow Dysplasia in both front legs which can lead to lameness and arthritis if left untreated in his older years. He is currently a mobile and active puppy and doesn't let his condition slow him down but don't expect him to stick a landing when he flys off the stairs. Brutus is crate trained which he sleeps in at night and is currently residing with 2 smaller dogs and 2 cats although for the cats peace of mind and sanity I am recommending a home without them. He is currently enjoying a semi active lifestyle with walks down the beach and has good social manners and recall off the lead.
Medical notes
Elbow Dysplasia - please research condition , it can affect dogs on different levels .It is difficult to predict Brutus's future outcome without surgery to correct his angles and stabilize the joint but at the same time it will also be just as difficult to predict a successful outcome with surgery and that avenue will not be for the faint hearted or without cost. Brutus has already undergone one surgery on his leg but this attempt unsuccessful at correcting the angles and fusing the joint , he has fully healed and recovered from this but he does carry his bravery scar on his front leg which is visible in his photos . I am leaving the surgery options open to the new owner to discuss with there own vet and take that avenue at their own discretion.
