About Bonnie
-not cat tolerant-
-suited to being an only dog-
Meet Bonnie, a pretty black girl who is 4 years old.
She has adjusted to home life with ease and is a quick and willing learner.
Bonnie is very clean inside and does not get up to any mischief either inside or outside.
She is currently living very happily as an only dog and can be left alone while you are out.
Please note: she is definitely not cat tolerant.
You can Come home in one hour or nine and she just as excited to see you.
She loves people, all people, in crowds of people she just wants to join in.
Bonnie loves to be petted and cuddled but can amuse herself if you are busy.
She has never got up on a (human) bed or couch but if you want a dog to snuggle up to at night on the couch I am sure she could be persuaded.😉
Bonnie loves a ride in the car and travels well with either her head out the window or laying down quietly.
She loves her food, all food, and is not a picky eater. She eats like a lady, and has great manners, and does not counter surf or bother you when you are eating.
She learns very quickly and respects that she is not allowed in the food preparation area of the kitchen.
As you can see by the photo she reckons it is alright to peek around the corner when I am preparing her food.
She is partial to the odd zoomie during the day and sleeps quietly all night. She is gentle with children of all ages but has never lived with one.
Loves her daily walk and is good on the lead. She does not sleep startle, is not bed or toy protective, happy to share her food with you. A perfect house guest.
Bonnie was scared of all dogs and needs to be introduced the correct way. It is no good for a dog to rush up in her face as it scares her.
She has come a long way but still has a way to go so would need someone who is experienced with nervous dogs.
We also believe Bonnie would be best as an only dog where she can lap up all the love and affection.

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
