About Vixen 🏉 (Assisted Rehome)
Through no fault of her own, Vixen has once again found herself in need of a Forever home.....she first entered the world of Rescue at the tender age of 4 weeks and whilst we aim to place them in the best possible homes to suit their needs, sometimes it simply doesn't work.
Vixen craves the attention from her humans and canine friends. As an only dog, getting limited interaction with the family, she's been left to amuse herself in the backyard. This has now resulted in her becoming bored and destructive.
This beautiful girl would love a doggie companion, older children who are happy to play fetch and Tug-o-war, and most importantly, a family who loves her unconditionally. The Kelpie breed have energy to burn, so an active family is needed! Vixen is getting better with basic commands like 'sit', 'stay', 'lay down' and waiting patiently for her dinner, she just needs a family willing to continue on with her training.
Vixen is an explorer (in the garden).....she has an active mind and body who would benefit from daily walks/runs, mental stimulation games, a swim at the beach and camping trips. She would not be suitable for apartment living or small courtyards.
Whilst she isn't a 'couch potato' ....Vixen will certainly hang out with you to watch State of Origin though! (NSW supporter)
Vixen comes Microchipped, Vaccinated (due March 2020), Desexed, wormed & Flea treated. She's located in Ruse NSW and looking forward to meeting you!

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
