About Ollie
This handsome young man is Ollie.
He will only be suited to a home where he will have a mature, desexed dog of similar breed to spend his days with. He will not suit a senior dog due to his high energy levels.
Ollie is a very happy boy who loves to run and play but also loves a cuddle on the couch.
He is still a cheeky pup at heart and still shows his affection with lots of kisses - faces, hands, legs - it doesn't matter, I love you so I will lick you! This is something his carers are working on but the excitement still gets the better of him.
Ollie came to us from a rural pound with no history known. He has quickly learnt his name and his recall is improving each day. He is learning new commands and trying his best to please. So far he has mastered sit and wait/stay, will get down from the couch/bed when asked and out (for outside/out of the bedroom). He is now learning the concept of 'drop'. Although its a work in progress, he is doing really well and his carers are very proud of him.
Ollie is only young and further guidance will be needed from his new family to help him continue developing his skills.
Obedience training will be highly recommended for this boy to help him continue developing his social skills, learn and understand what his family expect from him and to help him create a trusting bond with his special people.
True to his breed, Ollie has plenty of energy and will require a large backyard/acreage to keep him happy and entertained as he grows. Daily walks, exercise and plenty of mental stimulation will be extremely important to prevent him becoming bored and destructive to entertain himself.
Agility/fly-ball classes may also be a great way for Ollie to let off some stored up energy.
This gorgeous young man came loves the company of other dogs! He gets along great with his foster brother and has a blast running and playing with all the dogs at the local park. He will not be happy as an only dog.
Ollie loves people and being allowed to spend time inside for cuddles and nap time will be much appreciated. He will be much happier living as a member of the family rather than a working dog.
Manners seem to come very quite naturally to Ollie. He is well behaved indoors and quickly understood that he was expected to head outside at toilet time.
He currently sleeps inside to keep him feeling safe and warm and can hold on overnight. We would like to see this continue for him in his new home.
While he has been in our care, Ollie has loved everyone he has met but we have not had him around young children. He is still young and bouncy so a home with children aged 10+ will be the best match for him.
Ollie loves to run and chase so will be seeking a home with NO CATS as he may become fascinated by them if they run.
Please contact us if you believe Ollie could be the wonderful new addition you have been waiting for.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
