About Eric b
Eric B, is a curious, snuggly, gentle and fun little man looking for his forever home.
He has been cared for by a wonderful rescuer in a very remote part of the NT because his family had too many dogs.
Eric B has the colouring of a kelpie and is about the size of a whippet but we have no idea of his breed. We estimate he is about 12 mths old.
He is a little shy and reserved but becoming more and more confident by the day and quickly enjoying the company of new people in the hope of a new lap to snuggle up in.
He will need to be gently and patiently introduced to all the new sights and sounds of suburbia and the city and would benefit from training classes. It could take time for him to feel comfortable in dog parks or busy cafes but with time he may well enjoy all kinds of activities.
Eric B has shared with lots of dogs while in foster care. While in foster care in the NT he would sneak into the cat enclosure probably to try and steal food and there were no issues with the cats.
We don't know how much contact he has had with children but most of our dogs go to homes with children of all ages, with the right supervision.
As he has never been alone before to prevent developing separation anxiety we feel it is best that Eric B goes to a home with another dog for company or a human who does not work away from home for long hours each day.
Eric B flew from Alice Springs to Sydney and is in foster care in Kingsford with Eric (B) near the Uni of NSW.
He is desexed, vaccinated and parasite treated.
