About Angus 31700 Campbelltown ACF
Hi! My name is Angus. I was initially surrendered by my owners back in November 2018, I waited at the facility for over 6 months to find a home. Sadly, after being adopted I was surrendered back to the facility as they decided I was not suitable for their family. I have watched a lot of my doggy friends get adopted into loving families but I am still waiting - I have not given up the hope that soon a loving family will come and adopt me and make all my dreams of living in a home again come true. As I have lived in a kennel for a very long period of time, I do require a lot of support and care from my new owners while I transition into my new home. I am very friendly with people, including children. I love receiving pats and cuddles from my carers, my whole body will wag in delight when I see you. I already know how to sit on command, and will wait patiently for my treat. Despite being an older boy, I am still as playful as any puppy - I love chasing toys, and playing with my carers. I do not like to be left in a backyard unattended - I require an owner who is at home for most of the day and will keep me inside the home or in an enclosure when they are out to prevent me from escaping. Although I am friendly with other dogs on lead, I must be rehomed as an only dog as I can get jealous of other dogs in a home environment. My adoption fee has been reduced to help find a home quicker. Come check me out.

Adoption payment can only be made in person at the Animal Care Facility.
When you have selected a pet and finalised the adoption payment, dogs and cats are booked into Council's contracted vet for the animal to be desexed typically the next business day. We will transport your new pet to our vet for desexing in the morning. The new owner is to collect the animal from the vets in the afternoon. Puppies and kittens are permitted to go home with the new owner once the adoption payment is finalised, and a desexing booking is made for a later date at Council's contracted vet when the animal is large enough for surgery.
Please note that this adoption profile may not be the most up-to-date information available, due to the constant movement of animals into and out of the facility. Please check our council website for the most up to date information: www.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/AnimalsandPets/AnimalsForSale
