About Cricket
Cricket is the smallest of the male pups in his litter and will be on the smaller side of medium we think. He is a great little guy, and very cooperative. This little boy is very teachable with a lovely sweet temperament. Cricket, like all the pups in his litter, is extremely well socialized with people of all ages, and plays nicely with school-age children. With a medium exercise requirement and a happy, confident personality, he will make a great family dog. He would also be great with a playful, kind adult dog, as he has been mixing very well with the big dogs in the home. Cricket is a solid little guy with a stumpy tail and a bit of swag about him. He is real cutie and would be a wonderful family dog.
Cricket comes from a litter of 6 born in a remote Alyawere community in the Barkly region of the Northern territory. His family left town with the parent dogs, and left the puppies in the care of a local worker, who loved them and raised them. She had to leave suddenly, so this beautiful little crew came into care with us. They have been a pleasure to care for, and are ready to go out and make their marks in the world.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Cricket's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Cricket is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
