About Lulu
Lulu is a gorgeous petite girl with a stumpy tail like some of the others in her litter. We think she will grow to about the size of her older sister Captain who is 13 kg, so on the smaller side of medium. She is a lively and intelligent little girl, and despite being one of the smallest loves rough-housing with the bigger pups and the adult dogs too. She is calm and cooperative and easy to teach. Lulu, like all the pups in her litter, is extremely well socialized with people of all ages, and plays nicely with school-age children. With a medium exercise requirement and a happy, confident personality, she will make a great family dog. She would also be great with a playful, kind adult dog, as she has been mixing very well with the big dogs in the home.
Lulu comes from a litter of 6 born in a remote Alyawere community in the Barkly region of the Northern territory. Her family left town with the parent dogs, and left the puppies in the care of a local worker, who loved them and raised them. She had to leave suddenly, so this beautiful little crew came into care with us. They have been a pleasure to care for, and are ready to go out and make their marks in the world.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Lulu's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Sammi is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
