About Petal
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
My name is Petal,
Can I go home with you?
Hi everyone, my name is Petal! I am on the hunt for my forever home. Unfortunately I'm not a great hunter, those pesky flies always seem to get away. So I need your help, can you help me trap some humans?
I’m a small girl but am full of personality. I have an excellent body clock and demand food at 7am and 7pm sharp. If my foster mum is late I make sure to give her a good meowing to. Once my belly is full I am a happy girl.
I also love to nap, it is my favourite thing to do. My special spot is on the fluffy bed, it is so soft. It is also perfectly positioned so that I can keep a watchful eye on everyone in the house. I like to make sure everyone is behaving, I often have to remind my foster mum to stop watching TV when she should be studying! At bedtime I have my favourite spot on my foster mum's bed, I make her sleep around me because it is really my bed and I allow her to sleep there too.
After nap time is play time, I love playing with toys and with my foster brother but he is very fast so I can never catch him but I'm smart so I like to pounce when he isn't looking! I have lots of toys to play with but sometimes it is more fun to chase the leaves that fall off the plants. They aren't very fast, so I always win! When I get tired, I like to sit on the windowsill and spy on my neighbours. They are pretty boring though, they just sit and stare at their computers.
I love other cats and it would be amazing if I had a friend in my future home. If I must, I will even accept the ones that bark. Sometimes big humans frighten me and it can take a little bit of time for me to get comfortable around new people. Once I am sure they are worthy of my affection, I will show my love by sleeping on their bed.
If you think you are the perfect human for me then I would love to meet you! I will do my best to schedule you in between my naps.
