Lottie adores her humans and foster fur siblings.
She loves company and would be best suited to a home with a doggy companion, and someone who is prepared to continue her training. She would not suit a home where she is left on her own for extended periods.
At 8 months old she is still only a puppy who appreciates the reassurance of a kind word and a pat or hug. She wags her little tail at everybody and loves the family cat, although perhaps a little too much – he does not feel quite so enthusiastic about her.
She does sometimes need to be reminded to use her manners, with people, children, other dogs – her love of all things new and exciting can be a little overwhelming for some. Lotti feels that everyone loves her as much as her foster family do! Her loving nature and enthusiasm for everything make her an absolute joy in her foster home.
She has even won over the grumpy old male dog in the household. The younger female is slowing becoming convinced that a new playmate is not actually a bad thing, and they are now best buddies.

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
