Hi there, I’m Jersey, a sweet natured young pup who loves people, cuddles and stuffed toys. I’m not your typical energetic pup, I’m actually quite calm and gentle. Apparently I’m a pretty clever girl, I know how to sit, stay, wait, drop and shake. I’m learning to walk on a lead with a halti and apparently I’m doing really well.
I love playing with my foster brother! He’s a lot bigger than me and sometimes I have to remind him to be more gentle, I’m a little lady you know! He usually lets me snuggle up to him when it’s cold at night. Did I mention I love cuddles? My foster mum calls me a little snuggle bug because I just LOVE to be close. I’m still learning how to be without my humans when they go to work and I spend a bit of time whimpering when they leave. I love all humans big and small, especially when they give me scritchy scratchy’s around my neck. I’m still a bit scared and timid in unfamiliar situations, especially when being introduced to new dogs or a new place. But it doesn’t take me long to let my guard down and get comfortable and making friends in no time at all. I always come to my humans when they call me and I’m getting really good at holding my bladder and toileting on command. I’m hoping to find humans that can love and care for me as much as I will love and care for them. I’m ready to make your house a home and your heart complete.
