I'm an older gentleman with a zest for life. I'm might look tough but I'm just a huge softie looking for love. I'm a favourite with volunteers and staff here at the shelter!
I'm a cuddly dog: I like pats and leaning into your legs the most. I'm looking for an owner who can spend a lot of time with me. I'd love a spot on the couch inside with you!
I absolutely love chewing my dog toys so I will need a large supply to keep me happy. I'm a good boy and never chew anything I'm not supposed to. I like to collect sticks on my walks and sit down and have a good chew. I never try to eat any of the pieces either, I just like to chomp them and move on to the next one. When I'm done I'm happy to keep walking with you!
I am toilet trained and only jump up when I'm really excited. I do have the habit of playfully nipping when I'm excited so I need someone who can handle that.
My new home needs to have decent fencing as I tend to wander off. I'm just looking for a person or family willing to love me. I may be able to get a long with another friendly canine. NO CATS PLEASE!

Adoption details
We require an adoption survey to be complete to ensure we are matching the right pet to your needs and expectations. We are happy to discuss the details of the pet over the phone or in person. If you are a potential match we will then have a meet and greet with all members of the family including any other dogs ( if adopting a dog). If the staff are comfortable with the connection and interaction between everyone we will then proceed with the adoption process. In many instances the animal can be taken home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
