Yabby

Hello, my name is Yabby, nice to meet you! I was surrendered to the shelter due to my family expanding (with the small human kind) and them not having the time to give me anymore. I would love to find a forever home where I can have as much attention and I want and deserve. I have been described as curious and smart, but I like my alone time too. I haven't lived with other cats (and I don't seem to like them much), but was quite friendly to the resident dog in my previous home with a slow introduction. I didn't seem to enjoy the interactions I had with the very small human, but may be able to live with children who are respectful and able to be responsibly monitored by parents when interacting with me. I am very playful and love to chase things, my favourite toys are string toys, or something I can bat around myself! I seem very interested in the outside world, so this may be something for my new family to consider when I am settled and comfortable in my new home (secure cats runs or supervised outside time is always recommended).
