Boy

Meet our gorgeous "Boy". He is an itty-bitty little thing and although he is still a puppy, he is unlikely to grow very big. Boy is lovable and energetic, currently residing in foster care with two larger dogs; a male and female. He gets along very well with his foster siblings, but especially loves his foster sister. Despite his small size, he can hold his ground and won't get pushed around. Boy loves running at the beach and chasing balls.

As an active puppy, Boy needs a family willing to invest the time into training and exercise to keep his mind and body fit, active and out of mischief! He is still showing puppyish behaviour like jumping when excited, play biting and chewing the occasional bed, so needs strong leadership, consistent training and positive reinforcement to teach him the proper way to behave like a young man! He learnt how to use the dog door in less than a day, so is a very intelligent with a great capacity to learn and become a beautiful companion.

Being small, Boy would make an excellent family dog. His foster family work full time, and he is happy to entertain himself with his doggy siblings whilst they are at work. He will let himself out of the dog door when he needs to use the toilet and hasn't had an accident since his first day. He gets along well with children, however as he can get quite excited, he may not suit those with young children, at least until he has had a little more training.
