About Princess ~ Dachshund X (on trial 13/7/19)
Princess is an 8 year old Dachshund x. Once she gets to know you, she is an easy going girl. Princess is looking for a loving home and came into care through no fault of her own
Princess has some basic training and will come when called and is toilet trained. She does sit but when she wants to.
Princess is a little overweight, not that she is food obsessive but due to the lack of exercise she has put a little too much weight on and weighs around 15kgs. Now that she is in care, she is getting walked on a regular basis and let me tell you she loves it! So we are looking for someone who is keen to take her walking and is active. A semi retired or retired couple would be great!
Princess was in care with another dog and was living happily but circumstances had changed and the girls started to not get along. She prefers the company of her owner than another dog so we think best she be an only dog to get spoilt and loved. Princess is currently living with a male dog and they get along. When Princess is out walking she is not reactive to other dogs but we are unsure how she would go at a dog park off lead so to keep her safe we think it best if she is walked on lead only.
Princess loves her cosy bed and sleeps inside and must be allowed to stay inside if you go out as she stresses being left outside on her own. She follows you around and wants to be with you so will make a great companion dog for someone.
This dog is a beautiful girl and will make someone very happy!
